The 2025 District NE-I Honors Auditions were held at the University of New Mexico–Los Alamos campus on Saturday, October 18th. Students from Los Alamos and Santa Fe, ranging in age from 7 to 17, participated in this year’s event. Participating students represented the studios of Aejin Chang, Wendy Ge, Lydia Madrick, Janna Warren, Dr. Patricia Wood, Liana Austin, and Michelle Rosette. We were honored to have pianists Sergio Rodriguez and Dr. Jacquelyn Helin, along with violinist Emmy Tisdel Lohr, serve as our distinguished judges this year. Their thoughtful feedback and inspiring encouragement made the day a valuable learning experience for all. The winners of each level and category are listed below. First-place winners will advance to the State Honors Competition in Albuquerque on Saturday, November 8th. If you would like to learn more about the PMTNM Honors Competition or participate in the future, please contact NE-I District Vice President Wendy Ge at [email protected].
